THE BASICS

6 weeks of
  • 3 one hour 1:1 mentoring sessions (every other week) with me on Skype or Whats app, video or call
  • Three workbooks totalling 25 pages containing information, journalling questions, exercises, resources
  • Action points and email support 
  • Flexibility to tailor  to your wishes and needs
Week 1:  Foundations and Business Review
We will start with a Business Audit to work through, and at this stage lets iron out any blocks to your business moving forward. Your personal development and autonomy is an essential part of any project or life.  I will send you a list of journalling questions to consider before our first call to help you review your business as a whole as well as finding out your intentions, goals, current strategy and philosophy.  Spending time on these things, as well as making a start on your business plan will clear the clutter from your path and give your business (and yourself) a space to flourish.  You can also start on your personal development and self care list if you would find it helpful, and begin to work out a great way to fit it in around your life.  These questions are designed to get you thinking and reflecting in a way that will stimulate and energise you, identify your strengths and weaknesses, set your intention and goals.  The questions are for exploration and if  you prefer to leave it to the call that is up to you.  I won't include them all here but you will have plenty of ground work to do with before our first call. 

Week 2:  Business Review Call 
Once you've spent some time on this we can have our first mentoring chat. We will go over your business audit and foundations ensuring the fundamentals of your business are in place, and address anything that you feel needs our attention most from the journaling questions.  Following this you are likely to have a list of action points, and I will send you a business plan template for you to begin and any other exercises that are relevant to your needs and wishes.

Week 3: Marketing and Community
Of course this element of any business or project is absolutely essential.   I will send you another list of exploratory journalling questions  for us to discuss in our next call.   You can make as start looking at your current marketing strategy, your branding or advertising and experimenting with new channels.  This may also be a good time to look more deeply into what your message is and why.  I'll also include some questions pertaining to your blocks to creativity, blocks to 'self-actualisation', and you can 'shine a light in the shadows'  - take a look at unhelpful messages you have received or give to yourself unconsciously, so you can let them go; look at blocks to self and others, becoming more authentic, healing the past etc. These all help you establish deeper links with yourself and with your community and marketing your business. 

Week 4: Marketing and Community Call 
We can go over the most pertinent elements of your reflections, hone in on a good marketing strategy that suits your business, your resources and your wishes and strengths. I will send you a marketing strategy template, share all my instagram and social media tips, selling wholesale questions, if you like give feedback on your branding, social media, website, etc and explore improvements.   We can talk about possible marketing tools such as blogs, newsletters, social media, advertising, fairs, etc. 

Week 5. Action Marketing, and explore Finances 
This week you can build on what has come up and action your marketing strategy.  You can fill in your marketing strategy template, and further explore and experiment with the options for deepening and strengthening your brand.   It is also a good time to look at the products or service you are offering, what fits and what doesn't, and perhaps now you are feeling more creative, what else you might add to your range if relevant.  In addition to this I will send you information to help you review/forecast your finances and pricing for our next and final session.

Week 6: Review Call 
By this time you will I hope have a good all round view of your business and we can talk again about what else needs to happen.   We can go over unresolved questions about previous reflections and finances/pricing and your relationship to this aspect.  You can complete your business plan, marketing strategy, financial goals and if you like make sure you have good self care and personal development in place to keep it sustainable and fulfilling. We can review your goals and philosophy and make sure you have everything you need to help you and your business or project thrive!

This is the structure that I am recommending to keep momentum going.  If you would prefer to target a particular aspect of your business in a more focussed way over the weeks, and spend less time on other things thats fine too.  We can keep it tailored and flexible but with a goal in mind: for you to have the support, intention and confidence to take your business forward in the best way that is right for you.  You can see the introduction on the homepage if you didn't already, and find out more about me above.
